Shiva alias Paramashivaiah (27), a sweeper at Wipro Technologies and his wife Swapna (22) are the deceased. Marital discord is said to be the reason for the extreme step.
Shiva had married another woman Jayanti, a help at a school, few months ago and all the three were living in the same house which led to occasional spats.
The incident came to light when Jayanti returned from work on Thursday.
