<p>Bengaluru: A visibly drunk man entered a house in Indiranagar and robbed a woman, police officials said on Thursday.</p>.<p>The incident occurred on Tuesday on 6th C Main in Indiranagar. The Indiranagar police have registered a case following a complaint by Carlton Kenny.</p>.<p>Before entering Kenny’s house, the suspect roamed around the area and tried to enter a few other houses. His movements were captured on nearby CCTVs, the police said.</p>.Three of family from Malleswaram die in crash near Dobbspet.<p>Kenny, 21, told the police that the unidentified man entered his house on the ground floor around 3.30 pm when his mother, aged 45 years, was alone.</p>.<p>The FIR noted that the suspect stole a handbag lying on the sofa containing Rs 20,000 cash, a OnePlus mobile phone worth Rs 10,000, and a wristwatch worth Rs 5,000.</p>.<p>A senior police officer said the suspect had been identified. “He is yet to be apprehended,” the officer said. “We know that he roams in and around the area.”</p>.<p>Speaking to <span class="italic">DH</span>, Kenny said the grill door was latched, but the main door was open as it was around the time when his 17-year-old brother generally returns home after his classes. On that day, he had extra classes till 5 pm.</p>.<p>“Once the man went inside, my mother was alarmed as she was expecting my brother,” Kenny said. “She panicked. She then used a steel water bottle to shoo him away. She shouted and ran behind him. A few steps after leaving the house, he threw away the handbag and fled with its contents.”</p>.<p>Kenny, who was in college at the time, said, “The stolen phone belonged to my mother. When I came home, the house was locked. For nearly five minutes, I panicked before I found her,” he added.</p>
