<p>Bengaluru: The police have caught five men from Rajasthan for robbing a jewellery shop on Seegehalli Main Road near KR Puram, and recovered 478 grams of gold ornaments valued at Rs 50 lakh. </p>.<p>The accused — identified as Narayanalal, 43, Keeraram, 35, Pushpendra Singh, 35, Mahendra Gehlot, 27, and Dilip Kumar, 36 — were arrested following a investigation spanning several states. </p>.<p>Around 4 pm on May 9, two people entered a jewellery shop, wagged a knife and threatened a worker before making off with 41 gold chains, weighing about 600 grams.</p>.Bengaluru | Cops nab 2 serial burglars; recover gold, silver haul.<p>The robbery took place while the shop owner had left the worker alone to go for lunch. </p>.<p>Acting on the owner’s complaint, the KR Puram police launched an investigation. Their efforts led to the arrest of one suspect and a receiver of the stolen gold in Borunda village, Jodhpur district, Rajasthan, on June 4.</p>.<p>Interrogation of these two individuals revealed the involvement of two more accomplices, the police said. </p>.<p>Subsequently, on June 5, another suspect was arrested in Moodalapalya, Annapoorneshwari Nagar. </p>.<p>These three suspects were produced before the court and remanded in police custody for 14 days.</p>.<p>Further questioning led to the arrest of two more suspects in Dolaka village, Pali district, Rajasthan, on June 13, according to the police. </p>.<p>From June 8 to 24, based on information provided by the suspects, the police seized 478 grams of gold ornaments, a two-wheeler used in the crime and the knife. The total value of the recovered items is estimated at Rs 50 lakh.</p>.<p>On June 26, the four main suspects were produced before the court and sent to judicial custody. </p>
