A single foetus was found on the St John's hospital premises on Sunday.
The foetus was found in a public toilet adjacent to the emergency room, following which the hospital authorities informed the police.
"We are waiting for a response from the police. This is the third time in a couple of months that a foetus has been found on the hospital premises," said Dr Sanjiv Lewin, medical superintendent of the hospital.
St John's does not perform medical termination of pregnancies, he said. "I was told that the police have found some evidence from the CCTV cameras in the hospital premises," said Dr Lewin.
