Grocery store vendor fined

The Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has slapped a fine of Rs 3,000 on a grocery store vendor for placing a board on the pavement.

A group of BBMP officials undertook an inspection on Tuesday at Kumaraswamy Layout. Hemanth, the vendor, had placed the nameboard of the shop on the pavement which was obstructing the movement of pedestrians.
