<p>Bengaluru: The Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP) will close the lane of the Hebbal flyover coming from the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) towards Hebbal and Mehkri Circle (including the loop) between 12 am and 3 am for the next four nights, starting from Saturday. Vehicles will be prohibited from getting on to the flyover during these three hours.</p><p>This is being done to facilitate the launching of seven steel girders of 33.5-metre length as part of the upcoming ramp at Hebbal by the Bangalore Development Authority (BDA), well-placed sources noted.</p><p><em>DH</em> had reported last month that the BDA would write to the South Western Railways (SWR) to obtain the timings to erect the spans, based on rail movement.</p>.Namma Metro receives third trainset for Yellow Line .<p>They had sought the railways authorities' permission to not obstruct major traffic flow through the junction during the day. The flyover lane towards the city has to be closed because the spans will be launched with one crane on top of the flyover and two at the bottom.</p><p>Vehicles coming from the airport and parts of the city to the north of the flyover during these three hours must take the service road below the flyover and take a right towards Bhadrappa Layout and go via New BEL Road to reach the city.</p>
