<p>Bengaluru: Lalbagh’s 218th flower show, themed ‘Tribute to Rani Chennamma and Sangolli Rayanna’, will be held from August 7 to 18.</p>.<p>This year’s highlight is a 2,800 sqft floral replica of Kittur Fort inside the Glass House, alongside statues, portraits, floral pyramids, and exotic flower displays using over 50 lakh blooms. The exhibit celebrates Karnataka’s freedom fighters and brave women through 10 floral pyramids, visual panels, and a vertical garden featuring the National Emblem.</p>.<p>Outside the Glass House, attractions include LED screens, heart-shaped arches, framed portraits, vertical gardens, and floral flow beds. The seasonal garden will feature 31.5 lakh floral elements. Safety and hygiene measures include 136 CCTV cameras, door frame detectors, 12 new water booths, first aid, and animal safety provisions.</p>.<p>Plastic use is banned, and special parking, cloakrooms, and shuttle services will be arranged.
