<p class="title">Late on Wednesday evening, the Anti-corruption Bureau of the Central Bureau of Investigation trapped an Income Tax official while allegedly accepting a bribe from a contractor in an upscale coffee joint in South Bengaluru.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The arrested official has been identified as Nagesh, working with the I-T department in Bengaluru.</p>.<p class="bodytext">According to sources, he was trapped by a team of CBI officials in Jayanagar based on a complaint. The complaint alleged that the I-T official had demanded around Rs 14 lakh in connection with a case pertaining to raids on a prominent builder. The builder was recently raided by I-T officials. </p>
