Walkers, joggers and the public in general, who flock to Bengaluru's iconic Lalbagh Botanical Garden, are facing issues ranging from annoying vendors to absence of CCTV cameras and garbage mounds on the premises.

Urging all stakeholders to voice their concerns and draw the attention of the horticulture department, Deccan Herald and Prajavani have organised 'Janaspandana-Citizens for Change' at Lalbagh on Sunday. The programme will commence at 7.30 am behind the Glasshouse near Bonsai Garden Circle. Registration begins as early as 6.30 am.

The director of the horticulture department, joint director (Parks and Gardens), and deputy director (Lalbagh) are among the officials set to participate in the event.
