KSRTC revises ticket cancellation charges

KSRTC on Thursday announced new charges for cancellation/ postponement, advancing of tickets booked, with effect from April 1.

Customers cancelling their tickets up to 72 hours before the start of the journey will have to pay 10 per cent of the basic fare with the reservation fee. This increases to 25 per cent, along with reservation fee, for cancellations between 72 hours and 24 hours before departure.

For tickets cancelled within 24 hours but before two hours of journey, 50 per cent of the ticket costs as well as reservation fee will be withheld. There will be no refund for cancellations within two hours of departure.
