Bengaluru: Maheshwar Rao M assumed charge as the new managing director of Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) on Friday.
A 1995-batch IAS officer of the Karnataka cadre, Rao holds a Master's in Public Management from NUS and Harvard University.
Before this, he was the Additional Secretary and Financial Advisor in the Department of Space, Bengaluru.
