Metro people: Merging technology and clothing

An engineer and IIM graduate, Rameshwar Mishra, came to the city to head his own startup. He didn’t succeed in the beginning, but now he is the CEO and co-founder of TURMS, a smart clothing brand.

Talking to Metrolife, he says, “After a few unsuccessful attempts to start my own company, I started working for another clothing company. That’s when I met nanotechnology scientist Rohit. We teamed up and founded TURMS.”

Keeping in mind the Holi festivities, the duo has also invented a tee shirt that is water-repellant, anti-odour and anti-fungal. The product is available on Launchpad at www.amazon.in.
