According to the police, Meenakshamma lodged a complaint with the police on February 9 that her sister Kamalamma (36) went missing under mysterious circumstances. She had pointed a finger of suspicion towards Ravi Kumar.
Recently, the police managed to secure Ravi Kumar and grilled him. During the interrogation he admitted that he had hacked Kamalamma to death, near Nettakere village in Gubbi taluk.
Later, he had also burnt the body. He took away 25 gram gold chain and her cellphone and pledged them.
