Revenue dept official owns 38 acres of farmland

Muni Venkatappa, a revenue department shirastedar at the Deputy Commissioner's office in Kolar, owns 38 acres of farmland and gold weighing 1 kg.

He is one among the four government officials raided by Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials on April 27. The raids were conducted on 10 premises for assets disproportionate to their known sources of income.

Muni Venkatappa, shirastedar, revenue department, DC office, Kolar: Two residences in Mulbagilu, 38.38 acres of farmland, 1.997 kg gold, 2.409 kg silver, two cars, a tractor, a water tanker, Rs 2.21 lakh cash and Rs 12.04 lakh worth household items.

Sangappa I Soodi, revenue inspector, Mudhol Taluk, Bagalkot: One residence in Mudhol town, another house in Mahalingapura town, two sites, 7. 15 acres in Kuntoji village, one kg of silver, a car, Rs 92,000 in cash and Rs 5 lakh worth household items.

Lakshmipathi B, executive officer, taluk panchayat, Chitradurga: A house in the Challakere taluk, six sites, 15.14 acres of land in the Challakere taluk, four cars, a tractor, and Rs 1.13 lakh in cash and Rs 12.04 lakh in various bank accounts and deposits.

Ganesh Murthy M L, section superintendent, Community Health Centre, Solur, Magadi Taluk: Seven sites, 1.794 kg of silver and two cars.
