<p>A 20-year-old woman's decomposed body was found hanging at a house in Basaveshwaranagar on Thursday. <br /><br /></p>.<p>The deceased Uma Devi is a native of Magadi taluk and a resident of Housing Board Colony in Basaveshwaranagar. The victim may have hanged herself around four to five days ago, the police said. <br /><br />According to the police, Uma Devi had a live-in relationship with Puneeth Kumar, a gas agency owner, who was recently murdered. After Kumar’s murder, Uma Devi slipped into depression and committed suicide. She has left behind a suicide note stating that she did not wish to live after her lover’s death.<br /><br />The death came to light after foul smell emanated from the locked house and a neighbour, who knew Uma Devi, informed her father in Magadi. The father rushed to the house and informed the police who broke open the door to find the woman hanging.</p>
