BJP State core committee meeting in Delhi

BJP National President Amit Shah has convened a meeting of the State core committee in New Delhi on Wednesday evening.

The meeting is expected to take stock of the political scene in the State and discuss organisational matters. BJP leaders Pralhad Joshi, H N Ananth Kumar, D V Sadananda Gowda, Jagadish Shettar, B S Yeddyurappa, K S Eshwarappa, will be participating in the meeting.
Shah has always been keen that the State BJP take on the State government on the Arkavathy denotification mess.

However, the state unit has not been able to take it to its logical end. The party’s strategy for the budget session of the Legislature and status of the party’s enrolment drive in the State will also be discussed, sources said.
