City power lifters shine in M'lore

Three power lifters from the Mysore District Power Lifting Association have bagged several medals in the state-level power lifting competition held at Mangalore recently.

J Prabhukumar won a gold medal in 67.5 kg category. He is a resident of Kuvempunagar Extension and working at Central Workshop, South Western Railway as Technician Grade-01.

Srinivasaprasad has won a bronze medal in the 67.5 category. He is a resident of Gangotri Layout.

Eshwar has won a bronze medal in 56 kg category. He is working as a helper in Railways. He is a resident of New Dharmsingh Colony.

All the three are practising at the Apollo Gym of Vidyaranyapuram, a release said.
