Crocodiles to arrive

K B Markandaiah, executive director of the zoo told Deccan Herald that the Crocodile Bank of Tamil Nadu is giving three pairs of Nile Crocodile and Dwarf Crocodile free of cost. Already, the Mysore Zoo has readied the enclosure for the new arrivals.

The Trivendrum Zoo has also come forward to give a pair of African Buffalo for exchange of a pair of Gaur. The African Buffalos are very strong animals and are more powerful than the gaurs.
