Former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda on Monday said he may not contest elections in coming days due to the age factor and that he would continue guiding youngsters.
Participating in the discussion on the budget in Lok Sabha, Deve Gowda said “I am 86 years old. There is an impression that Deve Gowda is going to retire. I may not contest Assembly and Parliamentary elections. I will guide the young politicians.”
On the BJP's attempt to topple the JD(S)-Congress coalition government in Karnataka, JD(S) supremo said “I will not go into detail. I will assure you today that I will not allow this government to fall.”
