<p>Dharwad: The Dharwad Rural Police have registered a FIR against activist Girish Mattennavar on Friday. </p><p>Manjunath Jakkannavar of Mugad village in Dharwad taluk, who belongs to the Jain community has lodged a complaint against Mattennavar with the local police station, accusing him of making derogatory remarks against Jain community and hurt the sentiments of the members of the community.</p>.Noida: SP workers slap Muslim cleric who made 'derogatory' comment on Dimple Yadav.<p>The complaint said Mattennavar had spoken ill of the community during an interview to a private YouTube channel in Ujire. </p><p>Jakkannavar has also sought action against the YouTube channel.</p>
