Four girls of a family drown in well

The sisters were identified as Zaheeda (10) and Shaheda (15), daughters of Mehboob Ali, and his brother Kathal Hussain’s daughters Taslima (14) and Shaheena (16).

Another girl, Shakira (14), who was also with them, is admitted to a hospital in Raichur.
The five girls were headed to their field on Monday afternoon, when Zaheeda and Shaheeda got into a well to drink water. But when the two girls slipped and fell into the well, Taslima, Shaheena and Shakira got into the well to rescue them.

However, except Shakira, who could swim a little, the other sisters drowned. The oldest of them, Shaheen Begum, had recently passed her SSLC exam and had scored very good marks, police said.
