The 75 colleges in the district have agreed to admit two students each. Tuition fee for such students for the two-year course will be waived off and they will be provided with free books, uniform, food and boarding.
A memorandum has been submitted to Primary and Secondary Education minister to take steps for selection of students for free DEd training, according to a release.
