Former chief minister Siddaramaiah on Monday said that coordination committee's job was to ensure the coordination between the Congress party and the JD(S).
Speaking to reporters in Ballari, he said that it was the decision of the high command to support the JD(S).
Siddaramaiah was in Ballari to unveil the statue of Sangolli Rayanna.
"It is left to the high command to decide on accommodating JD(S) state unit president H Vishwanath in the coordination committee," he said.
To a question, if he is ready to become the chief minister if so decided by the coordination committee, he said that such issues would not be discussed at the meeting.
Meanwhile, Agriculture Minister Shivashankar Reddy said in Chamarajanagar that Siddaramaiah would become the chief minister if the coordination committee took a decision in that regard.
"There are no issues between the Congress and the JD(S)," he said.
"The coalition government will come out with solutions regarding farm loans in two months," he said.
Reddy charged that the BJP did not waive farm loan.
"Former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa wore a green shawl and presented a separate budget for agriculture, but the initiative did not help anybody," he said.
