Addressing the policemen during the Police Flag Day celebrations at the KSRP parade ground here on Friday, the State police Chief said the hike fulfils a long-pending demand of the police personnel. Singh said adding that the Government would also accord its nod to the promotion of policemen who have rendered long years of service.
Chief Secretary S V Ranganath presented Chief Minister's gold medals to 92 police officers.
