<p>Davanagere: Fire & Emergency Service Department personnel rescued an elderly couple trapped under the rubble of a collapsed house in Mehboob Nagar here on Friday.</p> <p>Buden Saab (80) and his wife Noor Jahan (73), residents of Mehboob Nagar, were injured and are undergoing treatment at the hospital.</p>.50-year-old house collapses in central Bengaluru; owner escapes with injury.<p>The mud walls of the house had collapsed due to incessant rain. A wall of the house collapsed in the early hours of Friday. The debris of the house fell on the elderly couple who were sleeping. Upon receiving information, the fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot and cleared the debris and rescued the two.</p> <p>Regional Fire Officer Nagesh, Station Officers Fakirappa Uppar, Bheemarao, Mohammed Rafiq, Tippeswamy, Ganga Nayak, Ashok Nayak, Kiran participated in the rescue operation.</p>
