<p>Mangaluru: Udupi-Chikmagaluru MP Kota Srinivas Poojary has alleged that the Siddaramaiah-led state government is driven by "propaganda and false promises."</p><p>Releasing a "charge sheet" on the failure of the Congress-led government in Karnataka at the BJP office in Mangaluru, he claimed the administration is mired in multiple scandals—including the MUDA scam, the Valmiki Corporation scam, and misuse of funds intended for Dalit welfare. He also pointed to issues such as injustice to farmers, the deaths of lactating women, the alleged encroachment of farmers’ lands in the name of Waqf properties and rising prices.</p><p>Poojary accused the state government of diverting attention by making baseless allegations against the Centre. He criticised Labour Minister Santhosh Lad, stating that instead of focusing on the welfare of labourers, Lad is preoccupied with commenting on Prime Minister Modi’s attire.</p>.Karnataka: Six killed, 2 injured in road accident in Vijaypur.<p>He further stated that roads in rural areas—including PWD roads, fisheries roads, and panchayat raj roads—have not received funds for maintenance in the past two years. "Pothole-ridden roads are now a common sight in villages across the state," he said. Although the Centre has implemented the Jal Jeevan Mission to supply quality drinking water to households, the state government has failed to execute it effectively.</p><p>Poojary also alleged that after the Siddaramaiah government came to power, the additional Rs 4,000 provided to farmers under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi and the Raitha Vidya Nidhi scholarships for farmers' children were discontinued. He claimed that funds earmarked for the welfare of SC/ST communities have instead been diverted to implement the government’s guarantee schemes, thereby doing injustice to these communities.</p><p>Criticising the AICC President for using the phrase “Namma Pakistan” during the Sadhana Samavesha, Poojary said the Chief Minister failed to condemn MLA Kothur Manjunath for casting doubts on military actions. “The Congress has been alleging security lapses in the Pahalgam incident. Will they say the same about the assassinations of Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, and the Mumbai terror attacks?” he questioned.</p><p>He further accused the government of booking cases against those who raise voice against the government.</p><p>To a query on BJP government booking rowdy sheeter against Suhas Shetty when Kota was the district in charge minister of DK, the MP said that the files related to rowdy sheeter do not come to the table of the Minister.</p><p>On MP BJP Minister speaking ill of Col Sofia Qureshi, he said “the BJP is always committed to the armed forces and nationalism. We never speak ill of the armed forces.”</p>
