Addressing a news conference, President H Sanjeeva said that 26 candidates from various departments will be fighting for 13 posts and urged the members of the district unit to support good and sincere candidates.
The Association has employees from Drivers’ Association, Revenue, tax department, PWD, District Wenlock Hospital and various other government organisation as its members.
K Subbarao (Revenue department), Babu Devadiga (Karnataka Polytechnic, Mangalore), Prakash Nayak (an employee in the court), Gopalkrishna (First Grade Assistant), B Nanda Kumar (Commercial Tax Department), Balakrishna Suvarna (Commercial Tax Department), Stany D’Souza (PWD), Niranjan Murthy (First Grade Assistant), Madhusudhan (Wenlock Hospital), Dayananda (Tahshildar’s driver), Vittal (TB hospital employee), Sunanda B (Nurse) and Shivappa (Agriculture Department) will contest in the election.
