<p>Belagavi: The vehicle in which former deputy chief minister and MLA Laxman Savadi had been travelling met with an accident after a goods vehicle collided with it near Darur village in Athani taluk on Monday. </p><p>Police said, Savadi and those travelling in the other vehicle escaped unhurt. Savadi was travelling towards Bengaluru and had left for his scheduled programme in another vehicle.</p><p>Athani police have registered a case.</p>
