'MLA misguiding public on Scheme'

He said the scheme aims at providing financial assistance of Rs 10,000 each to small farmers who own less than five acre land and grow horticulture crops, dicotyledon.

Though, the last date for submitting the application is April 20, the MLA’s office has been indulging in collecting applications from the faremers for the last one month.

The farmers were forced to spend Rs 200 to Rs 300 to submit applications in the MLA’s office when the applications were available at the Agriculture department for Rs 10.
