NBA player gives tips to M'lore players

Interacting with the media persons here on Thursday, Stolt informed that National Basketball Association (NBA) from USA intends to spread the spirit of basketball worldwide and so the members representing the Association visit various nations to interact with the interested public.

Two players from NBA including Stolt have flown to India to impart knowledge on basketball skills to the players.

Speaking further, he said that NBA has already formed 30 teams consisting of players from 35 nations.

“From last few years even the Chinese are playing for NBA, and we look forward to involve more number of Indian children and youth to be a part of basketball sports,” he said. Naveen Shetty from N Shetty’s Basket Ball Club, Basket Ball coach Aditya, Athreya Rao and others were present on the occasion.
