NITK 'Green Ad' champions

The runners up trophy was bagged by Srinivas Institute of Management at Pandeshwar.

Inaugurating the fest, Corporation Bank Deputy General Manager (Recrutiment & Publicity) John D’Souza said that the youth today have a great role in keeping the Mother Nature green. Stating that many rare species have become extinct due to pollution and deforestation, he opined that the coastal cities may be in danger due to global warming. MSNM Besant Institute of PG Studies Dr Narayan Kayarkatte presided over the programme.

As many as 13 colleges took part in the day-long event that included ‘Prastuthi’ (paper presentation), ‘Prakashana’ (poster ads) and ‘Prakruthi Prashna’ (quiz).

The aim of the fest was to create awareness among students towards the changes in the pattern of advertisements over the years towards environmental-friendly advertisements and corporate concern for the environment.
