<p>Mysuru: Member of the erstwhile royal family, Pramoda Devi Wadiyar, has cautioned against those who are offering to provide a ‘no objection certificate’ (NOC) for the private properties of the <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/mysuru">Mysuru</a> Palace.</p><p>Authorised signatory for Wadiyar M Lakshminarayana has issued a press note in this regard on Thursday.</p><p>The press note states, “It has come to our notice that certain individuals are misleading the public by claiming that they can secure NOCs in respect of the lands on Survey No 4 of Kurubarahalli, Survey No 41 of Alanahalli, and Survey No 39 of Chowdahalli, all under Kasaba hobli of Mysuru taluk”.</p><p>The press note adds, “It is learnt that these individuals are collecting money from unsuspecting people under false pretences. The public is cautioned not to engage with or entertain such claims. No payment should be made to such persons. No private party or individual is authorised to issue or arrange NOCs related to the lands on the above-mentioned survey numbers”.</p>.Villagers of Chamarajanagar district need not be worried over land claims: Pramoda Devi Wadiyar.<p>It may be mentioned that the High Court had set aside the orders of the earlier deputy commissioners that the land in three villages – Kurubarahalli, Alanahalli and Chowdanahalli - was ‘B’ kharab government land, in 2021. As per the High Court order, the lands are private properties and belong to the Wadiyars family.</p><p>Earlier, three deputy commissioners of Mysuru - from 2011 to 2015 - had passed separate and different orders, pertaining to the lands in Kurubarahalli, Alanahalli and Chowdanahalli as ‘B’ kharab land.</p>
