Renukacharya held, granted bail

Renukacharya was arrested by the local police on Monday for his reported incendiary remarks at a press meet during the run up to Lok Sabha elections.

A case under Section 506(2) Indian Penal Code was registered against the MLA and the High Court had rejected his plea for anticipatory bail.

The JMFC court released him on conditional bail.
