It may be recalled that two miscreants had opened fire at a jewellery shop on Tuesday night. It may be recalled that jewellers Suresh Baliga and Nagendra Baliga had received threat calls from a certain Madur Isbu, demanding Rs 2 crore recently. Following which, police had provided a gunman to Suresh Baliga.
Body found
The body of a person who was missing for the past few days was found on the river bank at Yenekal on Wednesday. Vasantha (50), the son of one Nekraje Dugganna Gowda of Yenekal village was missing for the past few days.
Subrahmanya police who have registered a case in this regard have suspected that Vasantha might have committed suicide.
