<p>Mysuru: Former Mysore-Kodagu MP Prathap Simha lashed out at Chief Minister Siddaramaiah saying that he is anti-Hindu and a highly casteist leader and alleged that he has been stalling the installation of a statue of Nadaprabhu Kempe Gowda, in Mysuru, over the past one and a half years.</p><p>Speaking to media persons, in Mysuru, on Monday, the BJP leader said that the statue of Kempe Gowda is ready, at a cost of Rs 25 lakh, and it was planned two years ago, to be installed on the premises of Karnataka Kalamandira, on Hunsur Road.</p>.MUDA scam since five years including BJP’s term: Ex-MP Prathap Simha.<p>His statement comes in the wake of the backlash, following his praises on Siddaramaiah on December 25, on the naming of the KRS Road, in Mysuru, after the CM.</p>.Simha praises CM, supports naming of road after Siddaramaiah.<p>Simha said, he has been a strong critic of Siddaramaiah over the past 11 years, on issues of Dharma. “Only I opposed Siddaramaiah for his casteism. I have also foiled some of Siddaramaiah’s plans, to implement his agenda, for political gains,” he said.</p><p>“Siddaramaiah had planned to name the Mysuru Airport after Tipu Sultan. I proposed the name of the Wadiyars,” he recalled.</p><p>“When, then Railway Minister Jaffer Sharief named the train from Mysuru to Bengaluru after Tipu Sultan, nobody objected. But, recently, I got it renamed as Wadiyar Express. No train has been similarly renamed, in the history of India,” Simha said.</p>.Mahisha Dasara can be celebrated without hurting sentiments: Karnataka BJP MP Wadiyar.<p>“Only I am fighting for Hindutva. When I opposed the celebration of Mahisha Dasara, nobody from the BJP supported me. But, I did not stop. I am the only politician of the Old Mysuru region, subject to problems by Siddaramaiah. </p>.<p>"Two cases were filed against me during the Varuna Assembly election, for protesting. Since Siddaramaih became CM for the second term, five cases have been filed against me. These cases were filed in a span of just three months. No other politician would have faced such a situation,” Simha said.</p>
