Two cops attached to Punjalkatte police station were placed under suspension by Dakshina Kannada Superintendent of Police Dr B R Ravikanthe Gowda.
Sources told DH that Head Constable Ibrahim was placed under suspension pending enquiry after a probe revealed that he was aware of illegal supply of explosives by one Chinnaswamy.
Another Constable Lakshman was placed under suspension for being involved in an assault case.
