Individuals willing to take part in the census to be held in various forests across the state in May can attend the programme.

The Forest departments of the southern states will conduct the census of wild jumbos at Bandipur National Park, Nagarahole National Park, BR Hills, Cauvery Wildlife Sanctuary, Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary, Anshi National Park and Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary for five-six days. Candidates who are physically fit and are able to trek six-eight kilometers in all kinds of terrain a day will be given priority. Contact at 94480 19005 for details.
