'Union government has failed to contain price rise'

The signature campaign was led by BJP District Unit President N M Ravinarayan Reddy and S T Morcha State Unit President Ashok Kumar.

“The people of this country are reeling under the burden of high price rise of essential commodities due to the wrong policy decisions of the Congress government,” alleged N M Ravinarayan Reddy.

Even though, the price of essential commodities have skyrocketed the farmers are unable to benefit from it. In addition to this, APL card holders are unable to get the stipulated amount of foodgrains. Efforts should be undertaken to better the PDS system, observed S T Morcha State Unit President Ashok Kumar.
