Works under Suvarna Grama yojane begin in Kadur

He laid foundation stone for the development of roads, drainage, solar connections, toilets at Garje, Basooru, Asandi, Yallambalase and Chikkangala.

He said “under special grant, government has been developing selected villages. Villagers should co-operate with the authorities in beautifying the villages.”

52 villages selected
ZP Deputy Secretary Kantaraj said 52 villages in Chikmagalur districts have been identified under special grant project of the government. In Kadur taluk, 7 villages have been selected under the project and a sum of Rs 7 crore has been sanctioned.  Taluk Panchayat President Umesh, members Asandi Kallesh, Garje GP President Lakshmibai, and others were present on the occasion.
