Yuva Dasara set to begin today

The much-awaited Yuva Dasara will commence at Maharaja College grounds here on Friday.

As many as 25 college teams, the best performers in Yuva Sambhrama, as well as Sandalwood and Bollywood artistes will enthrall the audience during the six-day festival. Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy will inaugurate Yuva Dasara at 6 pm.

Yuva Dasara Sub-Committee Deputy Special Officer Amit Singh told reporters that programmes would be held from 6 pm to 10.30 pm on all days. The selected teams of students from Yuva Sambrama will perform between 6 pm to 8 pm. The popular artistes will entertain the audience after 8 pm, he said.

Singer Vijaya Prakash and team will perform on Friday; Bollywood singer Badshah and Aastha Gill on October 13; Armaan Malik on October 14; Sandalwood artistes Rachita Ram, Haripriya, Shanvi Srivastava, Ragini Dwivedi and others will perform on October 15. On October 16, a programme sponsored by Coke studio is scheduled. On October 17, Sandalwood actor Yash, director A Harsha and team to perform.
