ZP member Kaddi Sundara joins JD(S)

Kodagu Zilla Panchayat member Kaddi Sundara is said to have joined the JD(S) in the party meeting held at Bangalore on Monday.

Speaking to Deccan Herald over phone from Bangalore, JD(S) Kodagu District unit  President V P Shashidhar said that Kaddi Sundara was welcomed to the party in a small formal programme on Monday. “He has joined the JD(S) by accepting the party ideology , with no terms and conditions and demands,” he said.

When contacted, Kaddi Sundara refused to comment.

It could be recalled that Kaddi Sundara was the aspirant for the post of Zilla Panchayat president during the election held for the post in October. But the party leaders chose Shivappa over Kaddi Sundara. Angered over the decision, Kaddi Sundara is said to have quit the BJP and joined the JD(S).
