<p>Thiruvananthapuram: Putting his party in a tight spot once again, Congress leader Shashi Tharoor has said that he will fulfil the responsibility entrusted with him to be part of the multi-party delegation to brief partner countries on the conflict with Pakistan.</p><p>"I consider it an honour that I have been asked to lead the delegation. As a citizen it is my duty to serve the nation at a time of crisis. It has nothing to do with politics but only a matter of national interest," Tharoor told reporters in Thiruvananthapuram on Saturday.</p><p>Tharoor also said that the Congress party was entitled to make its opinion on his abilities or lack of abilities. "It is for the party to comment. I have no comments on that. Since it is a government delegation, the government will have its own opinion. They can do what they feel is appropriate. Hence I do not have any hesitation in accepting it. Certainly when the nation wants my service I should be available," Tharoor said.</p>
