<p>Mumbai: Four conservancy staff were suffocated to death while cleaning a water tank in the Nagpada area of Mumbai on Sunday.</p><p>The incident took place when they were cleaning a water tank of an under-construction property named Bismillah Space Building on the Dimtimkar Road near the Good Luck Motor Training School of the Mint Road in Nagpada.</p> .Three injured as leaking gas pipeline catches fire in Mumbai.<p>The incident took place around 1:30 in the afternoon.</p><p>Teams of Mumbai Fire Brigade rescued the workers and took them to the nearby Sir JJ Hospital, where they were pronounced dead on admission. </p><p>Officials of the Brihan Mumbai Municipal Corporation and Mumbai Police have confirmed five deaths. The victims were on contractual employment. </p><p>The deceased were identified as Hasipal Shaikh (19), Raja Shaikh (20), Jaiulla Shaikh (36), Imand Shaukh (38).</p> .<p>Meanwhile, Purhan Shaikh (31) had been admitted to the JJ Hospital and is undergoing treatment. </p><p>"Four people have died in the incident and an investigation has been initiated by the JJ Marg Police station in the matter,” Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone I) Dr Pravin Munde said. </p><p>The cause of the incident is not yet known.</p>
