Man dies of bee stings in Mizoram

Nghenchhanliana was on the edge of a waterfall yesterday, when thousands of bees attacked him and to avoid falling into the gorge, he sat down letting the bees sting him.
He managed to return home somehow but died of multiple injuries after having high fever, they said.

In a separate incident, a 46-year-old man was bitten to death by a snake in Mizoram-Assam border Hriphaw hamlet yesterday.Zairemmawia, who was working in his garden did not return home yesterday night and a search party, comprising of policemen and villagers found his body in his garden along with a dead snake
