<p>Hyderabad: A headmistress of a government school in Telangana was suspended for allowing birthday celebrations of former chief minister and BRS supremo K Chandrashekar Rao, who turned 71 on Monday. These celebrations were conducted under the supervision of a former corporator, with the participation of school students at MPP school in Saroornagar.</p><p>The school's headmistress in charge, Rajitha, has been found responsible for allowing these activities within the school premises. Permitting political leaders and their associates to hold celebrations inside an educational institution is deemed inappropriate and against the ethical standards expected by the school authorities, said the DEO.</p><p>“In view of the above violation, the competent authority, i.e., the undersigned, has decided to place Smt. Rajitha, headmaster in charge, under suspension with immediate effect as per CCA rules. During the suspension period, she shall not leave the headquarters without prior permission and will be entitled only to a subsistence allowance as per rules,” said the suspension order.</p><p>BRS leaders and workers had celebrated KCR's birthday with gaiety across Telangana on Monday.</p>
