BJP national President Amit Shah wanted to know how winning sixteen seats in Telangana will make K Chandrasekhar Rao, prime minister of the country. Shah addressing Vijay Sankalp Sabha in Shamshabad here on Tuesday said this, referring to the TRS campaign for sixteen seats to make KCR prime minister.

“There is a Modi wave sweeping across the country. People of the nation want Modi as their prime minister one more time, only Modi can give strong leadership to the country,” Shah said. He said that Modi during the past five years has secured the nation. “Can the Desh Ke Tukde Karenge gang and Rahul baba’s gang provide such a strong leadership,” Shah said.
At the centre, the Congress which has enjoyed power for a decade encouraged businessmen like Mallya to take huge loans and escape,” Shah said adding that Congress even politicized the Pulwama issue. “While the whole nation condemned Pakistan, the Congress suspected government’s intentions and supported Pakistan’s claims. They belittled surgical strikes in Balakot,” Shah said. He wanted to know whether the Congress supports the demand of the National Conference for a Prime Minister for Kashmir.
Enlisting the projects that were granted by the BJP government including the Metro Railway and the Biodiversity centre here, Shah wanted the voters to compare it with what Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi have done for the state. He said the Modi government gave Telangana central funds of over Rs 2.45 lakh crore in the last five years, while the previous UPA regime gave only Rs 16,500 crore.
“Do KCR have the guts to celebrate the Telangana Liberation day? No, he can’t, he fears the Majlis. KCR could not even expand his cabinet for three months even after winning the early elections with a comfortable majority,” Shah criticized.
