BJP president Amit Shah on Sunday questioned Rahul Gandhi’s silence on National Conference vice-president Omar Abdullah’s ‘two-Prime Minister’ comment made during the elections in Jammu and Kashmir.

“Why is he (Rahul) silent on this,” he asked during a public rally in support of actor-turned-politician Sunny Deol, in Punjab’s Pathankot.

In a scathing attack on Capt Amarinder Singh, Shah said the Punjab chief minister should 'drown in shame' because his minister Navjot Singh Sidhu went to Pakistan and hugged Pakistan Army chief.

“Shame on you Capt,” Shah said. If Sidhu has so much love for Pakistan, he should instead go and settle in Pakistan's Punjab, Shah said.
