The little champs transformed the evening into a marvellous musical journey. As the lights went off, the crowd became silent to listen to the children. The programme began with Ae mere watan, which was dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi.

Many children had come for the programme and the crowd was totally involved in the performances as it clapped and even sang along with the children. Blue, green and yellow colours brightened up the stage and kept every one in the mood to sing. The crowd was not silent for even a minute as the children performed.

Veena, a 10th standard student from Cluny Convent said, “The children sang very well and the performance was very good. We had a lot of fun and it was very nice to see such small children sing so well without any stage fear.”

There was not a single minute when the audience was bored. Anu, a housewife said, “It feels good to listen to such small children perform so boldly. Their parents also must be given some credit for giving these children the opportunity to sing.”

Amidst the hazy smoke and bright lights, the five children set the stage on fire and kept the crowd wanting for more. In order to keep the audience involved, the children played games with the audience and the programme was quite humourous too.

Said Anushree, a lawyer, “I was inspired by the activities of the trust. That is why I came to watch this programme and moreover, the little champs were participating and I was very eager to listen to them. These children sing very well.”

The children sang songs from all genres like classical, Hindustani, pop, romantic to name a few. Songs like Bachna ae haseeno, Laga chunari mein daag amongst many other old and new Hindi songs formed a part of the playlist.
