This fall, florals are set to bloom. So go ahead and replenish your wardrobe with some bright florals to drive away the gloom. Here are the many ways florals can be worn this fall.

Belt it

Grab an extra-long floral shirtdress, belt it at the waist, and wear it over black trousers and loafers. It’s an office-approved outfit that you’re definitely going to want to repeat.

All decked up

A sheer mesh top that’s decked out in a floral pattern pairs wonderfully with a jewelled-tone midi. Throw on some black slides and a deep purple lip for serious outfit success.

Look adorable

That adorable floral jumpsuit you wore with a bralette all summer can easily be worked into your wardrobe for the colder months.

All you need is an equally cute long-sleeved tee to wear under it. (Double points if it’s also stamped with flowers.)

Colour coordinate

Double up on outerwear, matching your jackets according to the colour of the floral pattern of your top.

‘Entrenched’

Autumn-ify your florals with a trench coat and floral ballet flats.

All in the details

Use a creamy, long-sleeved top with floral detailing to brighten up a monochromatic wardrobe.

Wear leopard prints

Sub in florals for leopard prints as the fallback pattern for all your outerwear this season—whether it’s on a cropped puffer jacket or on a longline coat.

Embrace distressed jeans

Consider silky blouses and cropped distressed jeans your new go-to staples. Our guess? It’s a combo you’ll be wearing on heavy rotation this season. And if you already consider yourself a print-mixing master, take your skills up a notch by pairing floral-panelled denim with a blouse in a clashing print.

Or you could tone down an all-over print with black stirrup leggings and patent low-heel pumps.

Power dressing

A pantsuit in bloom gives power dressing a whole new meaning.

Fantastic booties

Wear your florals loud and proud: Go the OTT route in an extra-long shirtdress with equally fantastic printed booties.

Go abstract

An abstract floral design adds a little something extra to a pair of simple black trousers; style yours with a bralette top while it’s still warm out.

Turn heads

Don’t be intimidated by doubled-up florals: Match a jewel-tone bomber with a pleated metallic midi skirt for an outfit that’ll turn heads. Pair peppy florals with warm textures and fabrics to create the most seasonally-appropriate pattern ever.

Breezy maxi

A bright and breezy maxi feels much more autumnal when styled with heeled loafers and a sleek backpack. You could also wrap a floral scarf or blouse around

Quilted jackets

A quilted jacket is a solid piece to have in your closet; this season, track one down that features a floral pattern.

Go sleek

For your 9-to-5, find a sleek blazer with subtle floral detailing, and pair it with slim-fit trousers and lace-up heels. What’s more ‘autumn’ than a sleek leather jacket? Now, one that’s dripping in roses—that’s as Fall 2017 as it gets!

In full bloom

A floral brocade overcoat is pretty much all you need to turn out a full-blown lewk—no matter what you wear with it, it’ll stand out from the pack. The floral craze extends to accessories, too: Switch out the plain strap on your cross-body bag for one dotted with blooms.
