Idukki district continued to receive heavy rainfall on Monday with Peerumed recording the biggest reading at 17 cm.

In Adimali, an under-construction building collapsed due to the relentless rain that lashed the area on Monday, leaving a couple of vehicles under debris. Holidays were declared for schools in Kottayam and Idukki on Tuesday.
